The dependence of the spectral scattering coefficient on crystallinity into semicrystalline polyester has been performed. A simple relation, linking the crystallinity, the wavelength of light, and the scattering coefficient was obtained. It has been found that the scattering coefficient depends strongly on the crystallinity for wavelengths lower than 1 mu m; beyond 1 mu m, this coefficient can be considered as independent of the crystallinity.
