2-Methyl-2-propen-1-ol and 3-chloro-2-methyl-1-propene were epoxidized with 30% H2O2 in MeOH as solvent over Ti silicate catalysts (TS-1, TS-2, Ti-Beta) as autogenous or atmospheric pressure. The second method run over TS-1 gave 2-methylglycidol and 2-methylopichlorohydrin in 20.2 and 56.7 mol % yields, resp.
