Specific conditions of construction and exploitation of underground Oil and Fuel Storage ,,Gora" near Inowroclaw
Abandoned brine production caverns were converted into oil and fuel storage caverns. Tightness, long-term geo-mech. stability and satisfactory storage parameters were the major points to achieve. A geographical location convenient for oil and fuel pipelines, favorable geological structure and the former correct exploitation of brine made the conversion possible. The capacities for oil and fuels are 3.5 and 0.75 Mtons, resp. The storage operation brine is no longer a waste and can be used for chem. industry purposes.
