Use of the LBET class models for the calculation of microporous structure parameters of active carbon on the basis of single and double nitrogen adsorption isotherms
Fundamentals of LBET class modelling the adsorption of gases in porous structures were given. The models were used for identification of empirical adsorption isotherm of N on active C. The fitting of the empirical data to the theor. isotherm was carried out by the non-linear constrained optimization (minimizing least-square error of fiffing). The LBET class model described well the adsorption mechanism and the pore structure within a wide pressure range.
