A decompn. of a toxic comp. (PhOH) in aerated aq. soln. by Pseudomonas putida bacteria was computer simulated. The diversification of the aeration was found of an importance for the process safety. The intensive aeration of the second bioreactor in the cascade was particularly advantageous.
