Selected problems of subsea gas pipeline operation (formation of MeH hydrates, corrosion marine activities, related failures, natural threats, inspections) were discussed. MeH proliferation in sea water, safety of marine navigation and fishery, and fire hazard after pipeline leakage were also taken into consideration.
