Effect of application mode of liquid hydrogen peroxide-based stain removal-agent on the removal of detergent enzyme-specific stains
Three various modes of application of the H(2)O(2)-based liq. stain removal agent on the removal of enzyme-specific stains were evaluated with the use of the selected stain monitors. Stain removal performance was estimated by spectrophotoreflectometry (brightness measurements). A simple addn. of the tested agent to the washing liquor resulted in an increase of stain removal power only for small no. of stain monitors. A combination of application the part of the tested agent onto monitors with the rest added to the washing liquor resulted in the considerable increase of this no., but the best results were achieved for the combination of application on stain followed by the addnl. mech. action (rubbing).
