Two (CF(3)SO(3))(2)NR (I) and CF(3)SO(3)R ionic liqs. (where R = 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium) were supported on polypropylene, poly(vinylidene fluoride), polyamide and polyetherosulfone membranes (porosity 80%, pore size 0.2 mu m) and used for absorption of CO(2) from its mixt. with N(2) (concns. 20, 50 and 100%). The highest diffusion coeff. showed the I liq. supported on polyetherosulfone (6.08.10(-10) m(2)/s).
