Eight new ionic liqs. with 2-mercaptobenzothiazolate and dibutyldithiocarbamate anions were synthesized and characterized. Acrylonitrile-butadiene elastomer was cured with the ionic liqs. as vulcanization accelerators to study the vulcanization kinetics of the rubber compds., crosslinking d. and mech. properties of the vulcanizates. Use of the ionic liqs. resulted in shortening the vulcanization time and increase in the thermal resistance of vulcanizates, tensile strength and crosslinking d. of the vulcanizates.
