Study on thermokinetic properties of polyethylene and polypropylene-matrix wood-reinforced composites
Waste polyethylene and polypropylene were used as materials for prepn. wood-polymer composites studied then for heat-release rate at heat exposure 30-70 kW/m(2) for 60-600 s by using cone and bomb calorimeters. The thermokinetic properties of the composites were worse than that determined for comparison for a common PHOH-HCOOH resin-bonded chip board.
