Liq. N-S fertilizers were prepd. by using urea and waste (NH4)(2)SO4 solns. from caprolactam prodn. and studied for effectiveness in winter rape culture in field expts. The crop of seeds was substantially increased after the fertilizing. The fat content in the seeds decreased but the final yield of the fat was also increased (up to 164.8 kg/ha).
