Pinewood was pyrolyzed at 600-1200 K under nonisothermal conditions to H-2, low-chain hydrocarbons and C oxides to study the process kinetics. H-2 and CO were main products of the pyrolysis. The process was described by using the 2(nd) order reaction equation.
