A Multichannel Measurement System for Online Turbogenerator Vibration Diagnostics
This paper presents a multichannel measurement system for online vibration diagnostics of turbogenerator technical conditions. Several types of acceleration sensors with different parameters (supply voltage, frequency band, sensitivity, etc.) were used in vibration measurements. Possible variations of the number of sensors, their locations, and parameters are taken into account in the system architecture. The measurements were parameterized with thermal, electrical, and physical quantities (active and reactive power, stator winding voltage, temperature of relevant structural components, and cooling medium) of the turbogenerator. The system containsmodules that perform basic and advanced analyses of measurement data. The system stores its configuration for vibration measurement, and the analysis results in a properly designed database. The system architecture enables quick adaptation to measurements and analyses of other technical objects with different measurement sensors.
