Impedance spectroscopy analysis of 0.7BiFeO(3)-0.3BaTiO(3)/BiY2Fe5O12 composites with simultaneously improved magnetization and remnant polarization
Multiferroic 0.7BiFeO(3)-0.3BaTiO(3)/BiY2Fe5O12 (BFO-BT/BYIG) composites were synthesized via the conventional solid-sate route. The BFO-BT and BYIG phases can exist individually in the composites without any secondary phase. The magnetization and remnant polarization can be simultaneously improved by the introduction of proper amount of BYIG. For the 0.95(BFO-BT)-0.05BYIG composite, the M-s value is much higher than that of the pure BFO-BT and the P-r value is slightly higher than that of the pure BFO-BT. The dielectric relaxation of the 0.7BiFeO(3)-0.3BaTiO(3)/BiY2Fe5O12 composites was also investigated by the impedance analysis. (c) 2012 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
