Chemo-thermal method of initial isolation of bioactive proteins from egg white
Egg white was dild. with NaCl soln., acidified by addn. of HCl or citric acid solns. and heat treated at 45.9-74.1 degrees C for 30 min to sep. colloidal proteins by centrifugation. The optimum conditions for cystatin, trypsin and lysozyme sepn. were pH 3 and temp. 60 degrees C.
