Potentiodynamic characteristics of electrodeposition of the composite Ni-P+TiO2 coatings for the needs of hydrogen power engineering
Composite Ni-P/TiO2 layers were electrodeposited from TiO2 suspension in aq. soln. of NiSO4, NH4Cl, AcONa, H3BO3 and NaH2PO2 on rotating Cu electrode at varying current d. and electrode rotation speed and studied for chem. compn. and microstructure. The optimum TiO2 content in the bath was 100 g/L, the optimum current d. 250 mA/cm(2). The composite layers showed a better developed surface than the resp. Ni or Ni-P layers electrode posited for comparison.
