Effect of carbon black modification with silanes and an amine on physical properties of nitrile rubber vulcanizates
Nitrite rubbers was filled with channel C black samples modified with NH2CH2CH2NH(CH2)(3)Si(OMe)(3), CH2=CHCOO(CH2)(3)Si(OMe) and (NH2CH2CH)(2)NH at 120 degrees C and 60 hPa for 24 h and then studied for tensile strength, elongation under stress and tear strength. Only the modification of C black with (NH2CH2CH2)(2)NH resulted in an improvement of the mech. properties of the rubber vulcanizates.
