Dienes from the C-5 pyrolyzate fraction in thermal and catalytic [4+2]-cycloaddition reactions
Different functional alicyclic derivatives of cyclohexene and bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-ene have been synthesized from 1,3-dienes of the C-5 pyrolyzate fraction. The adducts obtained have been tested as antimicrobial drugs.
