Removal of 4-chlorophenol from water by advanced oxidation processes with hydrogen peroxide
4-CIC6H4OH was oxidized in aq. soln. with H2O2 at room temp. The full conversion was achieved only in presence of Fe2+ ions. The max. conversion achieved in presence of ultrasounds and activated C were 65% and 16%, resp. No conversion was obsd. when the oxidn. was not aided.
