Excess Molar Enthalpy of Binary-Mixtures of Diethyl Carbonate Plus 9 Chloroalkanes at 298.15 K and Atmospheric-Pressure
Excess molar enthalpies, H-m(E) of binary mixtures of diethyl carbonate + nine chloroalkanes have been determined at 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure by using a flow isothermal microcalorimeter. The H-m(E) values range from a minimum value pf -2600 J mol(-1) up to 340 J mol(-1). In the case of diethyl carbonate + dichloroalkanes, H-m(E) increases with the increase of the chain length of the dichloro compound. Experimental data have been correlated by means of the Redlich-Kister equation, and adjustable parameters have been evaluated by the least-squares method.
