Measurements of the Speed of Sound and Density of Aqueous-Solutions of the First-Row Transition-Metal Halides .2. Apparent and Molar Compressibilities and Volumes of Aqueous NiCl2 and Nibr2 Within the Temperature-Range 291.15 K to 297.15 K
The densities and speeds of sound in aqueous solutions of NiCl2 and NiBr2 were measured at temperatures ranging from (291.15 to 297.15) K and over the concentration range (0.1 to 1.4) mol.kg(-1). The dependences of the apparent molar volumes, V-Phi, apparent molar adiabatic compressibilities, K-s,K-Phi, and the adiabatic compressibility coefficients, K-s, on concentration and temperature were determined.
