Densities and kinematic viscosities for the systems benzene plus methyl formate, benzene plus ethyl formats, benzene plus propyl formate, and benzene plus butyl formats
Densities and kinematic viscosities have been measured for the system benzene + methyl formate at 20 degrees C and for the systems benzene + ethyl formate, benzene + propyl formate, and benzene + butyl formate from 20 degrees C to 50 degrees C. The results for the system benzene + methyl formate have been correlated using a Redlich-Kister type of expression with temperature-independent parameters and the data for the systems benzene + ethyl formate, benzene + propyl formate, and benzene + butyl formate with temperature-dependent parameters. The viscosities have furthermore been compared to values predicted by means of the GC-UNIMOD model.
