Transport properties in molten alkylammonium chlorides. II. C2H5NH3Cl+(C2H5)(2)NH2Cl
The system C2H5NH3Cl (A) + (C2H5)(2)NH2Cl (B) was examined with the aim of determining the phase diagram and the transport properties. The phase diagram is of the simple eutectic type, with eutectic temperature T-e = 350 K and eutectic composition x(B) = 0.32 in mole fraction. Densities, conductivities, and viscosities of the molten mixtures were measured in the whole composition range, for 0 < x(B) < 1. From the collected experimental data, it results that the considered properties of the system do not behave additively as a function of composition. The experimental data of conductivity and viscosity show an Arrhenius behavior.
