Effect of fosforylation on aggregation of chicken egg white cystatin
Isoforms of cytatin were sepd. from egg white (ovocystatin) by ionic chromatog., phosphorylated and studied for biol. properties by fluorescence and Western-blotting anal. of thioflavin T-aggregated protein complex. The phosphorylation resulted in an acceleration of the protein aggregation to tetramers.
