Use of sodium compounds for desulfurization and reduction of nitrogen oxides of the flue gases from circulating fluidized bed combustion
Raw NaHCO3 from prodn. of soda was used for desulfurization and redn, of N oxides of flue gases from a pilot fluidized-bed boiler (0.1 MW) at Na/S mass ratio 0.4-3.0. The processes were carried out at 300 degrees C both in the flue gas channel and at filtration stage. The efficiencies of the desulfurization and redn. of N oxides were 28-88% and 15-48%, resp., and increased with the increasing Na/S ratio.
