Use of natural protein stabilizer in the process for production of nanostructured silver
Aq. soln. of AgNO3 was mixed with aq. gelatine soln. and treated with ascorbic acid at 40-70 degrees C for 2 min to produce a suspension of nano-sized Ag. The Ag particles were-5-100 nm large. The suspensions were stable during storage for 6 months.
