Esterfication by Bioethanol of Catalytically Cracked Gasolines
We have studied the process of esterification by ethanol of the IBP-130A degrees C and IBP-200A degrees C fractions of catalytically cracked gasoline. The maximum yield of esters (16.37 wt. %) is observed for esterification of the IBP-130A degrees C fraction at 90A degrees C and pressure of 0.2 MPa. When the esterification product is compounded with the 130A degrees C-200A degrees C fraction of the catalytically cracked gasoline, we obtain a blended gasoline with an octane number of 84-84.5 (motor method).
