On the Static Dielectric Function of the Sticky Electrolyte Model
The static dielectric function of the sticky electrolyte model of electrolyte solutions is studied. We consider a model with bonding distance L=1/2. It contains steric saturation for association at dimer level. At increasing polarity of the diatomic molecules the ordering in the system changes and is manifested in the shape of the static dielectric function epsilon(k). The short ranged order is characterized by the presence of negative branch of epsilon(k).
