Blended Straight-Run Gasolines with Composite Additives Containing Watery Ethanol
Cranking and antiknock properties of gasoline-alcohol blends based on straight-run gasoline with additives containing watery ethanol and other oxygen-bearing components are studied. The composition of the gasoline-alcohol blends is optimized for summer and winter gasolines. Straightrun gasolines of modified fractional composition are proposed to be used for getting blended gasolines. In cranking properties, the obtained blended gasolines are similar to the original straight-run gasolines. The feasibility of getting high-octane gasolines that meet the environmental requirements for the content of aromatic hydrocarbons, including benzene, is demonstrated.
