Significant Influence of Distance between Amine Groups on Intrinsic Fluorescence Properties
Distances between amine groups were varied through three different approaches, which were found to play a crucial role in influencing the intrinsic fluorescence properties. Experimental data confirmed that the short distance between amine groups favored the intense emission and red shift of the maximum wavelength. It is probable that the fluorescence centers were perturbed by the interinfluence between the amine groups.
