Pressure Dependencies of the Thermal-Diffusion Factors, Alpha(T), of 9 Helium-Fluoroethane Systems at 300 K - Prediction of the Variation with Temperature of the Limiting Diffusion-Coefficients of These Systems from Alpha(T) Values at Zero Pressure
Thermal diffusion factors, alpha(T), are reported at 300 K for nine binary systems consisting of helium and a fluoroethane. The data are extrapolated to zero pressure to test the approximate theory of Oost et al. for the pressure dependence of alpha(T). The zero pressure values of alpha(T) are used to predict the temperature dependence of the binary diffusion coefficients of these systems.
