In this brief review we want to give a guidance to all the researchers who want to challenge themselves in the task of developing electrochemical immunosensors for the first time. We will focus here only on practical aspects trying to give the readers useful insights that should be considered such as the choice of the electrode to be used, the best electrochemical and immunological procedures, the immobilization procedures, the instruments to purchase and other basic aspects of electrochemical immunosensors.
