정적 방법에 의한 Phenol과 o-Cresol의 흡착 평형식

흡착 평형식은 크로마토그래피공정에 관계되는 가장 기본자료이다. Phenol과 o-cresol의 흡착 평형식을 구하기 위해서 RP-HPLC(reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography) 환경에서 정적 방법을 이용하였다. Phenol과 o-cresol을 초기에 각각 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 150, 200mg/ml 의 다른 농도를 실험하여 평형에 도달한 후 이동상과 고정상에서의 시료의 농도를 측정하였다. 측정된 데이터를 Freundlich, Langmuir, Sips 그리고 Ranke-Prausnitz식에 적용시켜 보았다. 실험된 데이터는 회귀분석을 통해 fitting 시켰다. Freundlich 식을 제외한 나머지 식은 실험값과 매우 흡사한 결과를 나타내었다.
Adsorption isotherm is the most fundamental information related to chromatography process. To find adsorption isotherms of phenol and o-cresol, static method was adopted in RP-HPLC. The concentrations of mobile and stationary phases were measured with different initial concentrations of phenol and o-cresol, 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 150, 200 mg/ml, respectively. The adsorption isotherms tested were Freundlich, Langmuir, Sips, and Ranke-Prausnitz equations. The experimental data were fitted by a regression analysis. Except the Freundlich equation, very good agreements were observed between experimental data and the calculated values.
