Effect of Ag-doped bathocuproine on the recombination properties of exciton in fullerene
The recombination properties of exciton in fullerene (C-60) deposited onto Ag-doped BCP layer with different doping concentrations were studied by photoluminescence (PL). The results show that low doping does not affect the exciton quenching of C-60. On the contrary, the exciton quenching of C-60 can be observed when the molar ratio of Ag to BCP is more than 1:1. The exciton quenching may be caused by the increase of metal-induced nonradiation centers at the interface since the existence of Ag cluster was confirmed in this case.
