A stochastic model was developed to predict the residence time distribution in continuous two impinging streams reactors with spray nozzles (CISR). The reaction between carbon dioxide and monoethanolamine was chosen as an example of gas-liquid reactions to demonstrate the performance capability of the CISR in chemical absorption operations.
