A Study on Adsorption Characteristics by Heat Transfer Coefficient Change at Adsorption Process of Benzene & Toluene
Removal and recovery of VOCs from exhaust gas in various industries become important as an environmental technology. In this study, adsorption and desorption of benzene and toluene which are the most common chemicals among VOCs were experimentally studied. Heat transfer properties around adsorption column were changed using various heat transfer media. Effects of heat transfer coefficients on breakthrought curve and desorption curve were investigated with N2 carrier gas. The solute concentration in the outlet gas and temperatures in the column were measured.
