Low-Temperature Heat-Capacities and Thermodynamic Properties of 1,1-Difluoro-1,2,2-Trichloroethane and 1,2-Difluoro-1,1,2-Trichloroethane
The heat capacities of Freons CF2ClCHCl2 and CFCl2CHFCl have been measured in an adiabatic, fully-automatic calorimeter over the temperature ranges from 5 K to 325 K and 58 K to 326 K, respectively. The substances were in the glassy, partly crystalline, and liquid states. The glass-transition temperatures, melting temperatures, and the main thermodynamic functions -{G(m)(o)(T) - H-m(o)(0)}/T, {H-m(o)(T) - H-m(o)(0)}/T, and {S-m(o)(T) - S-m(o)(0)} have been determined at T = 298.15 K for both substances.
