Theory of quasi-uniform states of small magnetic particles
Quasi-uniform micromagnetic states were investigated by self-consistent theoretical approach in square magnetic nanoparticles with the thickness small comparing with the exchange length. The four-fold magnetocrystalline anisotropy and demagnetizing field were taking into account to explain the eightfold configurational anisotropy observed experimentally elsewhere. All our analytical calculations are compared with experimental results and computer simulation.
