Magnetization reversal of Co-based amorphous micro-wires placed in longitudinal AC magnetic field
The magnetization reversal process in a Co-based amorphous micro-wire placed in longitudinal AC magnetic field is studied. The electromotive force induced in the pick-up coil wounded around the micro-wire is calculated in the framework of the quasi-static approximation. The electromotive force frequency spectrum is analyzed as a function of the AC magnetic field amplitude and the longitudinal bias magnetic field. Possible technological applications of the effect studied are discussed.
