Excess molar enthalpies of mixtures of pyrrolidin-2-one with higher alkanols at the temperature 303.15 K
The excess molar enthalpies H-m(E) Of mixtures of pyrrolidin-2-one with hexan-1-ol, or heptan-1-ol, or octan-1-ol, or nonan-1-ol, or decan-1-ol have been measured over the entire composition range at the temperature T= 303.15K. The H-m(E) values are positive for all the mixtures over the whole composition range. The values for higher alkanols increase in the order hexan-1-ol < heptan-1-ol < octan-1-ol < nonan-1-ol < decan-1-ol. The H-m(E) values have been used to calculate the excess partial molar enthalpies of the respective components.
