Removing of residual stresses in isotropic thin shells by heating
A mathematical statement and solution of the problem about construction of regimes of thermoplastic strain on cylindrical thin shells with initial stressed strains is given with a purpose of removing (lowering) the level of residual stresses. The relations of thermoplasticity, formulated within the Kirchhoff-Lave hypothesis in efforts and moments are taken as the input ones.
