Tools for polycrystal plasticity analyses
Texture-related modeling involves distributions related to a variety of different physical quantities such as crystallographic texture, grain morphology, and strength. Through the use of concepts of parametric mapping and piecewise local interpolation a common methodology can be applied to the representation of many of these distributions. Here we present their use in modeling tasks associated with the computation of the orientation distribution function, pole density distributions, and yield stresses.
