Torsional modelisation of the torsion texture of steel cord
In this paper, the textures evolution of pearlitic steel wire during torsion is investigated by experimental and theoretical method. The experimental results demonstrate that the extreme {110}<112> and {110}<110> circular texture component are stable for the pearlitic wires during torsion. In this case, the only one or two glide systems are activated which satisfy the simple shear deformation. The research results illustrate there is an obvious rigid body rotation corresponding to the torsion rate when the wires are deformed.
