Texture formation with different rolling modes in copper
In the case of homogeneous straight rolling, the mode of rolling (e.g. unidirectional or reversal rolling) does not influence the development of texture in polycrystalline copper. Significant texture/microstructure effects can be observed, when in the rolling process the direction of rolling is changed, e.g. to the transverse direction. These effects caused by the loss of stability of the ealier formed microstructure and texture are the subject of the present paper.
