Dynamic viscosities of the ternary liquid mixture involving CH3COOCH3, CH3OH, and CH3CH2CH2OH at T=298.15K
Viscosities of a ternary mixture containing CH3COOCH3, CH3OH, and CH3CH2CH2OH at T = 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure have been measured over the whole range of mixture compositions. Viscosity deviations and excess molar Gibbs energy of activation of flow for the ternary system were calculated and fitted to Cibulka's equation to estimate the parameters and the root-mean-square deviations between experimental and calculated data. To correlate experimental data of ternary system from binary ones, different equations have been used and their parameters are shown. To predict the viscosity of a ternary system, several methods have been proposed, based on group contributions and binary correlation parameters. Some methods of excess properties which determine ternary values by means of binary contributions have been applied.
