Calculation of plastic strain ratio of deep-drawing steel sheets from texture
The quantitative calculation of r-value of a textured polycrystalline material requires the pre-acquisition of the ODF data. In this paper, the ODFs of four kinds of deep-drawing steel sheets were calculated with the Modified Maximum Entropy Method (MMEM) and with the improved series expansion method from the data of three incomplete pole figures, respectively. The r-value calculations were conducted on the basis of the Continuum Mechanics of Textured Polycrystals (CMTP) method and obey by means of the Konchendorfer model. It is shown that the r-values calculated with the MMEM are in a better agreement with the experimental results than that calculated with the improved series expansion method.
