Texture formation and distribution of residual microstrains in rolled Ti-48%Ni-2%Fe single crystals with shape memory properties
By means of X-ray texture analysis the substructure inhomogeneity of rolled Ti-48%Ni-2%Fe single crystals was studied. Predominant plastic deformation mechanisms, features of reorientation, strength hardening and elastic microstrain vary by passing from one microregion of the rolled single crystal to another. Modes of the microstress equilibrium were revealed as applied to samples with one-component and two-component rolling texture.
