High temperature compression and annealing textures in a gamma-TiAl based alloy have been studied, A weak recrystallization texture in the alloy is reported. Ordering influence on the evolution and determination of textures is discussed. Textures of the alloy are determined with two incomplete pole figures by the modified maximum entropy method (MMEM).
