Densities, speeds of sound, and isentropic compressibilities of a cyclic ether with chlorocyclohexane, or bromocyclohexane at the temperatures 298.15 K and 313.15 K
Isentropic compressibilities Ks and excess isentropic compressibilities K-S(E) of {xC(4)H(8)O, or xC(5)H(10)O, or x(CH3)C4H7O, or x(CH3)(2)C4H6O + (1 - x)C6H11Cl, or (1 -x)C6H11Br} were calculated from measured density and speed of sound measurements at T = (298.15 and 313.15)K. The excess isentropic compressibilities were fitted to the Redlich-Kister equation. The mixtures studied show large negative values for K-S(E).
