This paper presents the linear model of physics values, which makes the calculation of thermal stress of FGM much more simplified, and the practical fabrication of FGM much more feasible. Further, the ideas of gradient forming design of FGM of axisymmetrical geometries are put forward through analyses of the steady thermal stress, which will be of sound significance to the design for FGM.
